He thought a mission could change him.
Then he met his companion.
By Dylan Gray
ABOUT THE BOOK
At nineteen, Dylan is promised a two-year LDS Church mission will send him home to complete the next most important step in a young Mormon boy’s life: marrying a daughter of God in the temple.
There’s just one problem.
He isn’t attracted to girls.
And he’s not the only missionary anxious about his future in the Church.
ABOUT DYLAN GRAY
Dylan Gray is the pen name of a former LDS missionary who served two years in South Africa — and recorded all 733 days of it in his journal. Missionary is his debut novel, drawn from those entries beginning with the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. It’s a story of the people, places, and circumstances that led him to a crisis of faith and a greater awareness of self.
